Our next TastEd LIVE lesson is on Tuesday. Join us and wonderful TastEd teacher, Ruth, to explore fruit and veg using our sense of SMELL.
What you’ll need:
- An apple (or carrot) chopped into slices (or sticks)
- Different jars of spices with the labels covered. If you can’t cover the labels you could make sure your child can’t see the spices and get them to close their eyes when smelling.
Examples of ground spices to use: cinnamon, cardamom, ground coriander, cloves, cumin, nutmeg, ginger. Cinnamon is great to use for the tasting activity at the end of the session.
