Tim Gilson

Chair

Dr Tim Gilson is a member of the School Teachers’ Review Body and was previously Chief Executive Officer of an Academy Trust and a secondary school head teacher. He is a geographer with a love of the natural world and is a keen walker and bird watcher. Tim is also a Trustee of the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy.

He has a love of growing, cooking and eating great food and has seen the joy and impact of excellent food and nutrition education through working with brilliant food teachers in schools, local community farms and care farms.

Favourite way to eat a carrot – steamed with chopped parsley alongside a roast dinner.
